In April Griffin got his tonsils taken out. Who knew they could freeze tonsils? No stitches - blood or any other disgusting stuff. We love Cook Children's Hospital! (Thanks Sherry Hamilton for taking care of our little boy.) The surgery was short (15 minutes to be exact). He did great - it just took him a little longer than usual to wake up. Apparently weight has nothing to do with how much medicine to administer. After 7 days of nothing solid to eat and 10 lbs lost he went back to school. He quickly gained those 10 lbs back and had more energy than ever.
